Product DetailsAlthough justly famous for his “rags”, Scott Joplin also penned several ragtime marches.  They are characteristically lighthearted and lilting and should have a jolly swinging feel to them.  Not to be taken seriously, this delightful “promenading” march is ideally a carnival tune - springy and fresh - just like a young rose bud.  Don’t let it become formal and pompous as if for a grand military parade.
